FIRST OFF, thanks to both the Mods of the NY&NJ HTF for helping me

Hi Folks,

A fellow Arfcommer brought this to my attention about the NJ folks as we modify quite a few rifles (AK, CETME, M-76, etc) for the NY, NJ and CA markets. We permanently modify Magpul Pmags and AK47 magazines for the California market as well.

We have 15/30 Pmags that have been permanently modified to only accept 15 rounds. These are the new revision "M" black magazines. There is a polymer block inserted inside the magazine to prevent any binding of the spring and follower. Also, we offer a free engraving service on the magazines if desired. The magazine can be engraved "15 ROUNDS" on one side and the other is marked "15/30" and is not seen when inserted into the magazine.

You can see the magazines listed on our website in the Magazines section at...

thanks,

damn, and only a few weeks ago, i picked up some disassembled PMAGS from you guys, guess i have to place another order.

and while we have your attention, what can you guys do about obtaining some of those new polymer single stack zastava PAP mags, myself and a few other jersey residents just picked these nice new AK's up, but magazines are a bit of a problem, as we only have one each. WASR single stack mags fit, but the are a bit loose in the mag well

thanks

I haven't seen these magazines? We deal in Century Arms stuff and I have never even heard of the PAP mags....

As for 15/30 AK magazines, we literally have THOUSANDS of new Polish and Romanian magazines that we can mod for you. The units we do for California have the same polymer block but we tack-weld the front of the magazine follower to the body and engrave those as well.

thanks,
Ron

the zastava is imported by EAA, not century, and is also VERY new, my serial number is less the 100. that could be why you have not heard about it.

You're confusing the crap outta me

Are they 10 Rounders or 15 Rounders

Magpul 15/30 NJ-Legal Standard 15-Round Magazine
HDI-modified MAGPUL 15/30 New Jersey-legal PMAG 15-Round Magazine for the AR-15/M15 - Flat Dark Earth, Black and Foilage

The PMag is a lightweight 5.56 NATO, M-16 compatible magazine. The PMag features a pop-off storage/dust cover that alleviates pressure from the magazine feed lips, allowing for storage of loaded magazines without risk of feed lip creep that often causes malfunction in standard aluminum magazines. PMAG utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance. These particular Pmags have been permanently modified to only accept 10 rounds of ammunition. Any attempt to alter the magazine to hold more than 10 rounds will destroy the magazine and the warranty will NO be honored.

I apologize for the confusion. When I added them to the webstore I just used the "copy" function and changed the magazine capacity and name for the NJ crowd. I will update the website with the correct amount as you pointed out in the post.

thanks,
Ron

Henderson Defense is a paid dealer on the site, as such I believe he is allowed a limited degree of latitude in linking to the EE from the Hometown Forums. Thank you to those who alerted me to this thread, appreciate you all helping me police the forum and keep it according to Goaty's wishes, but I think this one is kosher until staff tells me otherwise.

I second time warping to early September 1994 and making NYers some prmags.

Hi Folks,

I promise not to turn your fine HTF into an EE forum. If you folks have ANY questions please PM or email us. We were made aware of the dilema for NJ residents by one of your fellow NJ Arfcommers.

Since I didn't do much of intro I should let you know that we modify firearms and magazines for states/cities that still have some sort of Ban in effect. We do everything by the book and don't try to skirt the laws, just follow the laws.

We will removed flash hiders, remove bayonet lugs, sleeve flash hiders and a host of other modifications for folks that can't have what we can here in NV.

Here is a pic of a flash hider on a milled receiver Yugo M76 rifle that we did last week....

We just recently finished a California-legal MG42 today and here are some pics. I am not 100% sure of the laws in the NY and NY area but California's letter describes the ability to accept a detachable magazine or feeding device. Because we modified the top cover to use a bullet or screw driver to open, it no longer has the ability to accept a quick detach magazine without the use of a tool. So, California has some of the most strict gun laws but they can now own one of these out there

thanks,
Ron

How much do you sell the MG for? Most of those ive seen are built by Century and cost way over 2 grand. I have a Browning 1919 myself

I know there is probably no chance, but some reasonably priced 15 round Saiga .308 mags would be nice.

It's no big deal but you should make some 20 rounders into 15 rounders for the new jersey market. It would be nice if someone can do a retro build and wanted a legal straight body 15 rounder.

I bought several of these PMAGS from ww.riflegear.com when they were just available a few weeks ago.
I picked up 20 into 15's & 30 into 15's.
I ran them though my sons M&P 15, as well as mine.
200 rounds & not a hiccup or issue.
Nice, solid construction.

Thanks Riflegear for great customer service & cheap two day shipping!!

Well, having bought both 15/20 PMags from Riflegear, and our own PK90, I gotta give the nod to PK90. His mags have removeable baseplates, and can partially disassemble for cleaning. Riflegear's mags can't be disassembled, and the baseplate is pinned - meaning you can't replace it with a Ranger plate, for instance. As an added bonus, Paul's mags are a little cheaper :) Arms-n-Ammo for all your magazine needs

I ordered one of the 15/30 a couple of weeks ago. Looks a little questionable. 1 rivet holding a piece of plastic block? I dont know, I feel like im gonna end up paying legal fees.

We have another method of securing the magazine with the original spring, follower, floor plate with both epoxy AND a rivet securing it in place. Please contact us and we will get you another magazine out as a replacement.
