I want to start loading 12ga 00 buck. I have a bunch of 2 3/4 federal hulls with low brass and I am finding data for federl hulls that dosnt specify high or low brass. I have also read ellse where on forums that it dosnt matter which you use. Is that really true? are there any saftey issues? I would be loading only moderate non magnum loads.

Please let me know. also what are some good shot shell loading books?

low, high, medium, uppers or downers, doesn't make any difference. Brass isn't even need on shotshells nowadays. A lot of the "brass" is just nickel plated soft steel ala Remington Gun Club and Activ hulls dont have any brass at all
