 Glock 20 SF??

Since it looks like the new Glock 21 SF will be a big hit, do you think that Glock will release a Glock "20" SF?? I really want to pick up a full size 10mm Glock, but I think that I'll be able get and maintain a better grip on the SF frame. Also, if Glock does decide to release a Glock 20 SF, do you think they will also release a compensated “C” version too??

I’m hoping that Glock will go forward with a 10mm SF pistol, as well as a compact SF 10mm/.45 ACP pistols too.

Currently, I own a Glock 21 and I have no problems in shooting it, but I do notice that I’m adjusting my grip often during rapid fire drills. Plus, I have a 10mm Colt Delta Elite, which is a fine pistol… To date, I’ve only shot Federal “white” box stuff. No high-speed loads yet.

Thanks for your input!!

I found that when I got my 20 that I had to use the grip that the 20 wanted. If you, as I did, try to align the barrel with your forearm, as I do with all my other side arms, it will always twist toward your thumb. I just set the backstrap into the crease at the base of my thumb and it stays there. It takes some getting used to. I finally figured out that I had to pull the trigger while weighing the pressure with the web between my thumb and forefinger to get a straight trigger pull. The recoil is so mild in the 20 that the off axis angle of the barrel has never been a problem.
I have small hands and the 20 grip felt huge. I think that if you work with it, it will get comfortable.

No word yet from Glock. You CAN easily convert the 21SF to 10mm with a conversion barrel and slightly mod. G20 mags. Thats the way I would go anyway. I'm just waiting for the SF in OD green

I've already got a 21SF, and I'm planning on getting a 20 to switch the parts out.

It won't be a 20 lower. When I put the 21SF upper on it, it will be a regular 21, except the serial numbers won't match.

I'd be interested in picking up that mixed-SN Glock from ya when you get it together, unless you plan on keeping it...let me know...

Awesome!
Just what I needed, and interested buyer in an unfired GLOCK 21 that started out as a 20.

Just get a 21 with Night Sights and we'll talk :-)

I dont care about the serial numbers...the thing is new, and will work just fine...

My plan is to get a Lone Wolf 6" 10mm upper when they start making the longer slides. Another $350 on top of the cost of my 21SF. I'll shoot 10mm rarely compared to .45, so that won't matter as much. If I start shooting 10mm a bunch, I'll buy an old 20 and grip reduce it

I doubt there is a demand for a 21sf, they probably don't sell a lot of 20s. I'd love to know how much of each model Glock sells, course that'd be skewed by PD sales.

As the frame for both large Glocks is identical including identical internal parts, all Glock would have to do is put G20 uppers on the existing SF lowers and they'd have G20SFs. There wouldn't be any non-recurring costs to make a G20SF.

In my mind, there doesn't seem to be a business case for maintaining all the current large frame Glock frame configurations (Original G20/21 frame, SF w/picatinney rail and ambi mag release, SF w/Glock rail, the SF w/Glock rail and non-ambi mag release) even though each frame could be sold as either a G21 or G20 version.

I'm betting that Glock is just watching the sales of the SF vs the regular frame and will decide whether to drop the 3rd gen std G20/21 frame in favor of the SF versions. Heck, they are already making the G20 mags with in the ambi-mag release version.
