What's a good quality set of aftermarket sights for a Glock? I read here before about a brand that seemed to be the overwhelming favorite, and thought I saved a link, but can't seem to find it anywhere...

There is all different types man it depends what you are going to use them for.

For my Glock 19 that I carry often I use a set of Truglo tritium night sights, on my Glock 17 that I use in competitions I use the Tru Glo red and green fiber optics that look like this.

(not my pics)

They are really bright during the day and it's a lot easier for me to align the sights at a high speed when the front is red. I tried to switch away from them and I had to go back. The red catches the eye so well and the contrasting colors make it so easy to line up you gain a lot of speed.

Go to Chances are they'll have something you like. Great folks, too. You can also get Ameriglo sights @ Lonewolf Distributors.

Something rock solid and preferably adjustable (realizing that these two don't necessarily go together). If they glow then great but not a requirement.

I went with Trijicon GL01 night sights on my 17 and I LOVE THEM! I was able to get a really good deal on them...I think it was around $85 shipped Priority Mail. This was my first Glock and I definately learned one thing...the factory polymer sights are the first thing to get replaced after purchase!

Meps (plastic white outline stays white) or Heinie (great target sights). The painted white outline on other sights fades/dulls over time.

Trijicon, Trijicon HD, Mepro, Truglo fiber optic, Nite sights or a combo of both. Dawson, etc, lots of great sights, more for Glock then any other gun.

Meprolights for me. Bright. Well made. Inexpensive. Front sight fills up the rear notch nearly completely (unlike Trijicons).
