Hello guys. I'm looking to put a 9 or 10 inch larue rail on my LMT upper thus I need a new low profile gas block. My under standing is that LMT does not parkerize under their front sights. Do I need some kind of special gas block? My thinking is something like this is going leave a gap. There will be the un-parkerizied areas and then the parkerizied is the middle causing a gap and bad fitment. So what gas block should I get thanks.

LaRue makes their own low profile gas block to remedy this very situation. And it will fit under their rails.

ETA: LaRue GB

Larue or DD will fit the bill.

Thanks guys. Sounds like that should fit the bill and cover the non-parked areas. 2 more questions. I wont need a new gas tube will I? Can the LMT pins on the FSB be hit out from either side or is there a certian way. Thanks.

nope, your gas tube will be good to go.

should be an *either side* thing with the LMT pins.
